Elwyn Freeman

Elwyn Freeman has been potting for over 30 years. His first time "in the mud" conected him with something that was special. He is not a production potter; rather liking to do whatever the clay tells him he needs to throw next. Elwyn says throwing keeps him out of trouble but we all know it keeps his blood pressure down. Born in Sacramento, CA., he migrated to San Felipe and found a new home much the same way he found he loved clay. In addition to showing at craft fairs in the local area he has connected with two other artists, Rosario Torres and Mary Lou Wilhelm, at Unica Gallery on Hightway 5 heading into San Felipe. Stop by and say "hi" sometime when you are in the area. Elwyn Freeman - deepinclay@earthlink.net
